Post-Jam fixes, so many versions!


New version!

There where many usability issues and some game breaking bugs with the build originally uploaded for the GMTK Jam 2021. Here is a patch release to alleviate the most serious issues and bring in some nice quality of life fixes. 

The following changes have been made:

  • No more broken levels! The level generation is now fixed so all levels should be solvable
  • The escape key now opens the pause menu during gameplay, rather than quitting the game entirely
  • The pause and game over menus now contain a next level button, rather than the confusing "random level" button
  • Level completion checks now update correctly while in-game
  • Menu items are now anchored correctly for various resolutions
  • Fixed the custom shader made during the jam, the ends of wood now shows curved texture
  • Custom shader properly covers the grid blocks to make it look like one object
  • Added pencil line to custom shader to mark off the playing field and make depth issues more clear
  • Fixed camera rotation bug
  • The animation of incorrectly trying a level now actually "hits" any earlier parts at the correct depth

Web version

Now added a web version of the game as well. It should work fine, but in some cases the performance might dip a lot. The downloadable version is likely still the best, but for those without windows or who do not like to download games it is now here.

Old version

For those who would like to check out the original jam submission I uploaded Tsugite_Gamejam_V1.2.zip the only difference with the V1.1 version uploaded during the jam is that it contains a Readme file with the known pitfalls for playing that version.
